Chris Cipriano, President of Cipriano Landscape Design

- Horticulture, masonry and landscape development are Chris’s lifelong passions. His 25 years of experience in all aspects of the green industry has led him to create a landscape and swimming pool design / build firm that handles every aspect of a custom swimming pool and landscape project from the ground up. Chris’s expertise ranges from preliminary site evaluation and analysis to initiating the overall development of the site, which is then integrated into a master plan of the property with his landscape architecture staff.  Along with managing the construction of each project, Chris is also the infield designer responsible for most of the finishes selected for a project; he is also responsible for selection and placement of stone and plants within waterfall and swimming pool areas.

Chris’s expertise in site evaluation, land assessment and development has led to the creation of a successful and unique program Luxuryscape™. Luxuryscape™ is a site analysis program which assesses the homeowner’s family dynamics, health, leisure style and entertaining habits. The capacity of the property is then analyzed and compared to the family profile to ensure a well developed master plan and construction strategy. That strategy is then shared with the site engineer, home architect and builder to plan and create a landscape that perfectly fits the family’s profile and avoids overdevelopment of the property. This “team” process ensures homeowners of getting maximum use and enjoyment from their property while adhering to municipal regulations.

Chris’s painstaking attention to detail and the determination to build only the best has elevated Cipriano Custom Swimming Pools & Landscaping to regional and national recognition. Chris and his team were the recipients 21 Awards of Excellence in 2007/2008 for the design & construction of custom landscaping & swimming pool projects and in 2009 was awarded the International Awards of Excellence Gold Medal for Vanishing / Infinity Edge Swimming Design and Construction by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals.

William M. "Bill" Moore, Company Landscape Architect, NJ#AS00823

- After a decade of designing difficult landscape projects, Bill brought his considerable talents to Cipriano Landscape Design in 2004. He is a New Jersey Certified Landscape Architect and holds a landscape architecture degree from West Virginia University’s nationally accredited and top-rated Davis College of Agriculture, Forestry and Consumer Sciences. Bill designed 18 of the 25 premier projects currently featured on the company’s Web site, including all of Cipriano Landscape Design’s recent award winners.

Keith Steinhoff, Company General Manager, APSP Certified Building Professional ID#216004

- A licensed ornamental horticulture specialist with 24 years of experience, Keith joined Cipriano Landscape Design in 2000. As manager of Cipriano Farms, he travels the No rtheast and handpicks every mature tree brought in for wholesale and retail use. Keith also directs all horticulture for the farm and for Cipriano Landscape Design—including the cultivation of container and specimen plants—and he personally oversees plant installations. In addition to lending his extensive gardening and arboreal expertise to the company, Keith manages all hydraulic designs for irrigation and swimming pool projects. Keith is also a "Certified Building Professional", a certificate administered by The Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, promoting his extensive knowledge of building custom pools.

Fred Pearson, Custom Swimming Pool Builder, Over 40 years experience building swimming pools

- Fred Pearson is Cipriano Custom Swimming Pools and Landscaping's head of swimming pool construction. Fred previously owned his own company "Pearseco Construction" which specialized in custom swimming pool construction. With over 40 years experience operating and overseeing the building of custom swimming pools for his own company, Fred decided he would like to come work for the Cipriano team. With the addition of Fred, Cipriano Custom Swimming Pools and Landscaping has been able to grow its swimming pool design and construction division with a true leader who has experience in the field.

Cipriano Landscape Design, established in 1989, is a recognized industry leader in custom residential landscape and swimming pool design and construction. In 2001, Cipriano was awarded a 2.5 million dollar residential landscape construction project which catapulted the firm to one of the top local landscape companies. Since then, Cipriano has incorporated luxury swimming pools to its extensive construction resume. In 2004 the firm was joined by William Moore, a New Jersey Certified Landscape Architect, who curr ently heads the design office. Cipriano has been recognized for its ability to build an entire custom landscape and swimming pool project without the use of subcontractors. In 2005 the Cipriano family purchased a 10-acre tree farm and nursery in Mahwah, NJ, where they currently grow large caliper specimen trees.
