Backyard Oasis

Location: Kinnelon NJ

Elements: Swimming pool, formal spa, patio, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, sun shelf, fiber optic deck jets, night lighting and planting.

Description: This backyard oasis has everything you could possibly want to relax and enjoy the best vacation you could think of without leaving your home. This traditional/formal design features irredescent glass tile with intricate patters, an in floor pool cleaning system, fiber optic in floor pool lighting, antique gazebo, fiber optic deck jet fountains shooting into the pool and much more. All of that combined with a view you can't put a price on makes this property much worthy of it's spot here on our featured list of custom projects.

Luxury Outdoor Living Area

Location: Mahwah NJ

Elements: Swimming pool, raised spa, patio, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, fire pit, sun shelf, waterfall, water slide and planting.

Description: This luxury outdoor living area won an NJNLA Landscape Award and features an impressive natural waterfall. The patio features bluestone, fire pit and steps leading up to the raised spa located behind the swimming pool. The swimming pool itself features a sun shelf for relaxing on a beach chair in shallow water and a wrap around water slide. The outdoor kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to entertain a large party and is finished with thin stone veneer. Next to the kitchen you can find an outdoor living room with a custom fire place and is separated from the rest of the patio by incoroporating tile patters rather then the blue stone.

Natural Infiniti Edge

Location: Saddle River NJ

Elements: Swimming pool, spa, patio, 2 waterfalls, outdoor kitchen, natural coi pond, fountain and large boulder retaining wall.

Description: This property won the Best In Competition Award from the North East Spa and Pool Association as well as many other awards including a Silver Medal from the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals in their International Awards of Excellence competition. The waterfall design itself is unique in the respect that all the angular stones were placed vertically rather then on their side. The outdoor kitchen features a coi pond/stream directly behind it so when you are cooking you can enjoy the sounds and view of nature a few feet away. The pool falls off the edge into a large collection basin that recirculates the water. When sitting in the pool it looks like the water falls off into space creating a nice effect.

Landscaping, Entertainment and Swimming Pools Finest

Location: Allendale NJ

Elements: Swimming pool, spa, 22 ton boulder waterfall, sun mosaic on the pool floor, custom grill, cabana, outdoor fireplace, fire pit, planting and night lighting.

Description: With an Association of Pool and Spa Professionals International Award of Excellence and a design award from the North East Spa and Pool Association, this outdoor luxury entertaining space has proved to be quite a feat. The 22 ton boulder installation was featured in a local newspaper because of the immense equipment that was needed to install it. When the night lighting is on the pool becomes a tropical oasis that you can enjoy through the entire evening while serving your friends at the cabana/bar and cooking on the custom grill. If you want a cozier more personal setting you can all enjoy some time sitting around the fireplace or fire pit. The immense planting gave the yard a very secluded feel even though the neighbors where just a stones throw away.

Description: This home really encompases what can be done when your goal is to entertain guests in a backyard that takes your right out of Northern New Jersey. Tropical plants that are planted fresh ever summer give this oasis a caribbean feel. The soothing sounds of the waterfall and pouring water from the spa relax guests while they lounge by the pool and wait for delicious food and drinks. The grill and kitchen area offer anything you could need to make a large meal or just fix margaritas. The bar is great for a few stacks but if you desire a large meal the natural stone dining table lends itself to the natural environment while the custom pergola ads a twist of design to the landscape.

Description: Have you ever been taking a hike through the woods and have seen a large waterfall you just wished was in your back yard? Well towns only let us build them so high but this 8 foot waterfall should hold over the owners of this backyard in Mahwah New Jersey. Not only can they enjoy their waterfall from the raised entertaining patio next to the house but there is an elevated spa located to the side of the waterfall so while their children are swimming in the pool they can keep an eye on them from the privacy of the spa. The planting features rich colors and a Swim Jet was installed so you can swim laps in the comfort of your back yard without a normal lap pool.

Vacation in Your Back Yard

Location: Cresskill NJ

Description: This property features lush vegitation, a large natural boulder waterfall with a spa built into the side of it and a natural stone patio. You would never know you were in New Jersey when relaxing in this back yard. One entire side of the swimming pool is right up against the natural boulder waterfall really giving it a natural feeling like you were right in the middle of nature.

Color your Landscape

Location: Mahwah NJ

Elements: Patio, grill, natural stone patio, fire pit and planting.

Description: Matching colors in your landscape is just as important as makings sure your not wearing different colored socks. We pulled this design together using red brick throghout the project. From the custom grill to the unique fire pit no detail was left unnoticed. The patio features brick inlay accents around the natural stone. The plantings throughout the property feature red to blend the colors of the brick. This backyard was created specifically with the thought of having summer dinners and afternoon bbqs in mind.

Description: Entertain your guests on this elegant patio and entertaining area.

Location: Englewood NJ

Elements: Extensive mature planting and gardening, advanced irrigation system, stone patio, oversized natural stone wall, spa and custom driveway.

Description: What else is there to say? This extensive landscape boasts elegant stonework, unique plantings and an intricately laid paver driveway.

Elegant Back Yard

Location: Cresskill NJ

Elements: Formal swimming pool, custom paver driveway, colorful planting, patio and automatic pool cover.

Description: This formal design offers color and elegance while remaining traditional. The pathways feature clean plantings that wrap around the sandstone patio with bluestone accents.

"Sea" the Difference

Location: Seagirt NJ

Elements: Swimming pool renovation, natural stone veneer, custom grill and colorful plantings.

Description: This shore house proves to be a nice retreat from the beach when the "bennys" are in town. Relax in your own backyard and get a tan while the family cooks on the custom grill built to serve many. Originally the front yard to this home was not inviting, covered by shrubs that had not been maintained and stucco that was falling apart from the salty air. Natural stone veneer was the answer to the corroding salt and by cutting back the shrubs and adding layered plantings the new inviting entry way still offers depth while becoming much more open and appealing. The only thing we are missing is the boardwalk.

Transform Your Backyard

Location: Mahwah NJ

Elements: Oversized boulder retaining wall, custom stone veneer on house, custom paver driveway, natural stone patio with brick inlay, custom pergoal, fire place and grill.

Description: Old world masonry with intricate attention to detail. A tough property to work with, this home in Mahwah NJ was built on a large hill with need for large retaining walls. Cipriano implemented large boulders to create a very natural feel. The backyard features a classic natural style boasting a custom pergola, fountain and lush plantings. The outdoor firplace and custom grill with couter space for visiters to sit and enjoy while you cook for them is unique from the way everything was designed to draw your eye toward the social area for a nice dinner to the nautical star natural stone inlay.
